There are lots of people out there who are far better at this than I am, and who have done it lots longer, but this is my journey and the information as I know it. We always get better by practicing. Here is a chronology of my progress.
Also, everyone also apologizes about how bad their cuticles or clean-up looks. I'll just add a blanket statement here saying that I rarely do the cleanup work before I take the pictures, LOL! So there really is no excuse offered.
Nov 13, 2022:
Very basic. First time.
I was so upset that I couldn't use my new Fall plates and thought they were just cheap. Turns out I had the wrong stamper to work with them! So I tried other fall-ish things to tide me over.
Tried a decal. Did some double stamping. No, I didn't clean up the edges yet before pictures....!
Dec 2, 2022 - A winter look
A little work with multicolor base coat
Dec 18, 2022 - Christmas nails for our trip to NYC!
Tried stamping with some gel, hated it. Stamped over it and it actually looked kinda cool.

I was in the airplane when I took this video clip so it's a bit loud - you might want to turn down your volume. LOL
Short clip to see the effect better:

Another fairly basic run, just for practice:
Feb 2, 2023
A hodge-podge, for sure. Experiments!
Feb 10, 2023
Just in time for the Bloody Valentine's haunted house. A reverse stamp on each hand.

Today's theme is: Bugs and blooms!

I did these for the Ren Faire. My pirate coat is called Regina so I went with poison apples, of course:
For Sept 2023 (DragonCon!)
Soul Eater set for Blair
These required a LOT of making decals, and hand painting designs which all started off as a stamp! I also added a blacklight reactive effect to the Sythe.
This set with a mostly muted, matte look is for my Wednesday Adams costume:
My first spooky nails of October, 2023:

Messy; pardon the non-cleaned up shot. I smudged one of the spiders pretty bad in the cleanup process, so you get this shot instead... LOL!
The feature here was a multicolored nail on each hand, with this monochrome look.
The last time I did my nails was for vacation. Mexico cruise! I haven't had a ton of spare time since then, but these were fun for the tropical theme of Mayan ruins.
My stepdaughter requested nails, so these are what she got!
