14. Sticky Stamping Polish

Let's talk about Sticky Stamping Polish!

Here's a link to the one I bought.

Sticky stamping polish has a longer drying time than regular stamping polish. This allows you to use it for additional purposes, such as applying pigment, glitter, or chrome effect powders.

It can even help with more difficult stamps because of the extended drying time which makes it more forgiving. Some beginners find this easier to learn how to use in stamping for this reason, too.

If you want to use sticky stamping polish in order to apply glitter over the top of your stamp, just start off by stamping it like normal.

Next, apply the powder. Sprinkle glitter over the nail, and it will stick to the areas with wet polish.

If you are using a chrome powder or etc. for the whole nail, you could also achieve this effect by using Sticky Base Coat from Maniology, or even try it with a fresh coat of nail polish let dry to the just-tacky state in a similar manner.

You can use an old stamper head to press down on the nail after applying the powder to help even out the coverage, if you're using a full-nail effect powder.

After dry, brush away the excess powder, gently.

Then you can apply the top coat over the top.
